Francis Chen is a transactional and litigation attorney whose practice includes real estate, environmental, and community association law. He represents clients in all stages of civil litigation involving real property and governance-related disputes, including matters arising in the context of common interest developments. He also assists with transactional and advisory matters related to corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance. His work further includes advising clients on environmental and land use issues arising in both litigation and transactional settings.

Mr. Chen received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he earned a certificate in business law. His coursework explored the intersection of environmental law, real estate, and complex transactions. He was the recipient of Jurisprudence Awards in Environmental Transactional Law and Leveraged Buyouts. During law school, he served as Articles and Submissions Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal and as Co-Director of a Berkeley Law pro bono clinic. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with Professor Ofer Eldar on corporate governance matters at Berkeley Law and gained additional experience through internships with Bay Area legal service organizations and a transnational company in Shanghai, China.
